K&L participated at Electronic Goes Green (EGG) from September 9 to 12, 2012 in Berlin with two presentations: “Corporate Sustainability – Green Image via Company-Related Environmental Labelling”, this was the title of the presentation which was presented by Ute Binder, Senior Consultant at K&L, in the session “Ecodesign and Ecolabels”. Eva Hink, Consultant at K&L, presented a poster dealing with “REACH and RoHS Compliance in the Supply Chain”. Both the oral and the poster presentation were very well received by the audience of EGG 2012.
Electronic Goes Green is one of the most important international conferences for environmental issues and sustainability of the electrical and electronic industry. EGG 2012 was attended by 450 conference delegates coming from 36 different countries. Among the key topics of this year’s conference were resource management, new materials and technologies as well as recent legislative developments.
Congress and exhibition was organized by Fraunhofer IZM and the Technical University of Berlin. The next EGG will take place in 2016.
