More than only environmental challenges: Human rights along the supply chain

The German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA) is obligation with regard to the human rights and environment-related due diligence in their supply chain. The aim of this Act is to identify, prevent and minimize any risk connected to human rights or environment-related risk via effective risk management systems. The act generally directly applies to German- based companies, however also non German based companies might be impacted by the act when being direct suppliers to German companies that are affected.
