RoHS Recast: Consulting and analysis of obligations
In addition to compliance with the restrictions on the use of hazardous substances, the new RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU also requires the documentation and communication as well as CE marking of affected devices. 1cc advises businesses on implementing these numerous obligations and supports them in marketing RoHS compliant devices.- Based on an Impact Asessement, we clarify for our customers which concrete legal obligations apply with regard to the RoHS Directive as well as to the national legislation within individual EU Member States. In particular, we evaluate deadlines, notification requirements as well as any possibilities for the use of exemptions. Via a Gap Analysis we will be able to identify potential gaps in your already existing compliance efforts and give you recommendations which steps are necessary to comply with existing legislations.
- We offer customized on-site workshops and trainings on the basics, obligations and implementation of the RoHS Directive. Scope and content of the trainings is arranged with the customer and adapted to the number of participants, previous knowledge and individual customer requirements.
- In order to comply with all requirements of the RoHS Directive, producers, importers and resellers have to rely on information of their suppliers and further partners. The complexity of the information does not allow a review in all details. However, the supplied facts and figures have to be checked with respect to completeness and consistency. This is done by 1cc based on a Plausibility Check.
