With the expansion of the company into such areas of expertise as Lobbying and Product Compliance, the business underwent restructuring in 2006, which merged in 2013 to 1cc GmbH, based in Holzgerlingen near Stuttgart. The only shareholder in the meantime is 4Square Return GmbH. With 1cc Corp. in Dallas, 1cc maintains a subsidiary in the USA.<\/p>\n<p>The 1cc team consists of around 40 qualified consultants and lawyers who provide comprehensive support in all questions regarding waste and environmental legislation as well as copyright levies. Special language skills and profound knowledge of individual countries and regions enable in-depth advice and clarification of specific issues. Our consulting services range from research and analysis of relevant legislation to clarification of individual concerns and manufacturers support in the fulfillment of their obligations.<\/p>\n<p>The experts of 1cc regularly participate as speakers in international conferences. Furthermore, 1cc is a member of Fraunhofer IPA &#8220;Global Environmental Compliance&#8221; expert forum, and of the working groups of the industry association BITKOM &#8220;Product-Related Environmental Protection&#8221; as well as &#8220;Circular Economy and Resources&#8221;.<\/li><\/p>\n<p><strong><li id=\"2\" class=\"\"> 4Square Return GmbH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4Square Return GmbH (4SR) is a holding company of medium-sized service providers with joint headquarters in Holzgerlingen, located between T\u00fcbingen and Stuttgart. 4SR comprises TechProtect GmbH and 1cc GmbH with its subsidiaries WEEElogic GmbH and 1cc Corp (USA).<br \/>\nThe 4SR companies successfully develop and operate business models in the fields of environmental services, compliance consulting, resource efficiency and network management:<br \/>\nIn particular, we are commissioned by companies in the electronics industry to operate multinational take-back and recycling programmes for their products, combining the fulfilment of legal obligations with sales promotion measures and strengthening customer loyalty.<br \/>\nIn addition, we advise more than 200 industrial customers on take-back obligations resulting from the legally anchored &#8220;Extended Producer Responsibility&#8221;, e.g. for used equipment (WEEE), but also for batteries and packaging. Further focal points of our consulting activities are the legally compliant handling of specific product requirements, e.g. with regard to substance restrictions (RoHS) or eco-design and energy
